Position

ARC is looking for an IT Project Manager/Process Manager, to implement and manage the IT projects for the company, together with local members in La Porte and members from Corporate IT worldwide. In this role you will be the leading IT professional at ARC, reporting directly to the President of American RENOLIT Corporation, and will be managing a current team of 3 direct reports and a broader team of about 10 project team members. Main focus will be on managing the SAP ERP-System management and projects (including SAP transition to SAP 4 Hana by 2024) as well as the overall IT HW & SW infrastructure for this 200-user manufacturing facility.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 

  • Implementation of a project-management position for the IT at ARC with local members and members from Corporate IT
  • Project-Management and leadership for all IT-related projects concerning SAP ERP-Systems and the overall IT-infrastructure
  • Drives projects, once kicked-off, to deliver against committed schedules and budgets to either resolve or escalate issues and to communicate frequent status against goals
  • Cooperative project-management with RENOLIT-representatives from various locations and market units.
  • Communication interface between IT and other departments at ARC and within the RENOLIT-Group and Corporate ERP-Team
  • Leading of project teams of approx. 10 members
  • Improvements and ownership of the IT business processes at ARC
  • Participation and leadership on international projects
  • Preparation and realization of local IT project rollouts
  • Supports ERP-users daily with reviewing and resolving process and system issues
  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company’s IT-infrastructure
  • Plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the operations of information systems
  • Meets with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures (5S, Safety, ARC policies, especially IT-policies)
  • Hires and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems
  • Controls the computer systems budgets and expenditures

 

  

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years in experience in IT project/process management capacity
  • 3+ years managerial responsibilities
  • Knowledge of business processes within a manufacturing environment, ideally on an international level, as well as in the areas of Finance, Controlling, Logistics, Purchasing, Production, Plant Maintenance, Quality and Sales & Distribution.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and managing SAP ERP-Systems (SAP R3/MES/CRM etc.), SAP 4 Hana a major plus
  • Experience with complex system environments and interfaces
  • Experience analyzing and validating the adherence to IT related policies and requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with employees and vendors at all levels
  • Flexibility for occasional domestic and international travel
  • Knowledge of the special requirement in the film(foil) producing industry a big plus
  • 1 day per week home office after onboarding period
  • Willingness to relocate if daily commute is not an option
