About the Position

This is a fantastic Inside Sales opportunity for an ambitious young professional who is motivated to continue growing as a sales professional. You’ll be part of a small but growing dynamic team of Committed and Innovative professionals—where you’ll wear many different hats. As Inside Sales Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in the administration of existing sales activities and account management. You’ll be processing orders, managing logistics, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction on all levels. The ideal candidate will enjoy a collaborative, transparent and international work environment taking pride in delivering outstanding customer service while providing top-notch inside sales- and administration support to LKAB’s field sales team. You’ll will also collaborate closely with the business development, administration, and logistics staff. This hybrid/remote at LKAB’s HQ in Chicago, reports directly to the President North America.


What You’ll be Doing More Specifically:

  • Communicate with customers regarding the offer and correct deviations
  • Assist with managing logistics regarding order booking and confirmation to customers
  • Assist with generating work order to production, stock, and transportation companies
  • Assist with invoicing process and follow up on accounts receivables
  • Arrange other documents as requested by customers
  • Obtain customs documents and export declarations as needed
  • Follow up with customers regarding late payments
  • Collect annual surveys from customers, summarizing results and generating action plan to resolve issues/concerns
  • Follow up with customers regarding delays and/or missed shipments
  • Potential responsibility for some of LKAB’s smaller customer accounts
  • Provide calculations and quotations to existing customers as directed by Business Development staff
  • General sales administration work such as keeping minutes from meetings providing flash reports etc.
  • Assist with yearly budgeting process


What We Expect from You

Work Experience & Education

  • Associates Degree business administration or related field
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated sales support and sales administration experience with a global company including both production and sales of products and services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various business software
  • Demonstrated account management skills
  • Ability to make analytical decisions that generate growth and meet sales goals
