Position

 

As the Head of Finance NAM, you will oversee the financial information of our client’s US companies (three legal entities, four facilities) and foster a high-performance culture. You will be part of the US management committee and work closely with the US Executive Vice President, local Site Directors, and the Group Finance team in Europe. Ensuring compliance with group policies is a key responsibility.

REPORTS TO: US Executive Vice President (based in NAM) / Functional manager: Group Controller (based in Europe)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Produce reliable financial reports and explain US sales and results
  • Build a strong performance analysis based on cost and time
  • Improve pricing models to secure margins
  • Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts with site directors and the local finance team
  • Ensure reliable cash forecasts and communicate them to the group finance team
  • Cooperate with statutory auditors and follow up on tax returns with external tax accountants
  • Manage relationships with banks and legal advisors
  • Ensure compliance with group policies and internal control procedures
  • Participate in software and ERP systems implementation and future M&A transactions
  • Hybrid working hours required (3 days/week in Memphis, TN – with frequent visits to other US locations)

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven experience working for a cross-cultural & matrix-type organization would be ideal
  • Autonomous, hands-on, and capable of working in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication abilities at all levels
  • Proficiency in ERP, Business Intelligence, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able & willing to travel nationally & on occasion internationally
  • Languages: English (spoken and written), French (desired), other languages welcomed
