Your role

As the Head of Cloud Sales for the US market, you will lead an energetic team in selling IONIS innovative cloud products to companies across the country. We seek someone who can drive outbound lead generation while identifying and developing larger client opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create and execute plans that generate momentum and growth. We’re looking for a leader who excels in client engagement, motivates the sales team, and transforms it into a powerhouse.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the strategic development of our sales and account management division, focusing on both short-term targets and long-term growth.
  • Lead outbound lead generation efforts and identify opportunities to secure and develop larger clients.
  • Build and expand B2B partnerships with resellers, channel partners, MSPs, and ISVs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders throughout the sales process, including high-level negotiations with C-suite executives, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Innovate workflows and processes to continuously refine our sales and customer engagement approach.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize outreach, communication, and conversion using various tools and processes.
  • Conduct regular sales analyses and market evaluations, staying ahead of the competition with insights and industry trends.
  • Guide, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales, account management, and technical consulting staff.
  • Represent IONOS at meetings, fairs, and conferences, showcasing our leadership in cloud and hosting solutions.


What you bring

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, and account management.
  • Proven leadership and staff development skills, with at least 3 years of experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Technical expertise in cloud technology.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in various settings; represent IONOS at various events.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for exploring emerging technologies and driving innovation.
  • Strong customer-centric approach with a blend of sales acumen and service excellence.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies, web professionals, or software developers, and a relevant bachelor’s degree or higher is a plus


  • Location: Philadelphia
  • Hybrid Role: must be able to work 3 days per week from Philadelphia office
  • Must be able to travel
  • Compensation: 170-220K base plus variable bonus/commission
