On behalf of our client, Edlon Inc., part of the GMM Pfaudler Group, we are seeking a General Manager (GM) to lead the company and further expand its footprint in the US. This an excellent career opportunity for a well-versed, energetic, strategic, and hands-on leader with a strong commercial background and extensive experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position based out of the plant location in Coatesville, PA.

The Edlon Inc. entity in the U.S. will be relocated from Avondale, PA to Coatesville, PA by year end 2026. The current employee base consists of 65 FTE’s.

Position Overview
As the General Manager of Edlon Inc., you will have overall responsibility for leading, directing, and developing the business operations for the company. The GM is a key-member of the Corrosion Resistant Technologies (CRT) Group Senior Leadership team and will report directly to CEO of the CRT Group, based in Europe. Reporting to the GM will be both the Operations and Sales Departments for Edlon Inc.
In the role, you will serve as the top executive for Edlon and be responsible for strategy, structure, budgets, people, financial outcomes (achievement of the targets), and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) metrics.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Sales and Operations.
- Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business.
- Coordinate the development and achievement of established KPI’s (i.e. Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, EBITDA) for all operational functions and direct reports.
- Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit.
- Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.
- Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the unit’s offerings to customers.
- Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
- Work effectively in matrix type organization (i.e. All Sales Segment and Support Services Groups).
- Communicate strategy and results to the unit’s employees.
- Monthly reporting of key operational and financial results to corporate officers.
- Engage with Corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning.
- Be responsible for the smooth transition moving all production of Edlon into a single site located in Coatesville, PA.

Candidate Profile
The individual filling this role must have a broad array of experience, with a strong commercial track record, and have the ability to coordinate processes and operations across the organization and multiple operating entities. Furthermore, have a proven track record of success (i.e. profitable growth and operational excellence) with over 10 years related experience in a manufacturing environment with a preference for corrosion resistant technology/equipment. Strong/leadership skills (i.e., has successfully brought together various disciplines to create a cohesive and efficiently run organization.

Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Engineering or Business Management or related field of study.
- Master of Business Administration a plus.
