What You’ll Be Doing

In your role as the General Manager, you will be managing TORMEK US operation and building value by developing and implementing new sales and operational strategies which will be key to your and the company’s success

  • Grow existing accounts as well as identify new sales channels and expand a customer base (partners, dealers, and distributors)
  • Oversee finances and manage P&L
  • Keep the US team together and increase the interaction with teams in Sweden
  • Manage the US operation including sales, finances, marketing, customer service, supply-chain, etc
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Build strong relationships with people outside of your network
  • Strengthen the TORMEK brand name in the US
  • Well acquainted with the digital sales channels
  • Create and implement strategies for business growth
  • Attend and support trade shows

 

What We Expect from You

Your Work Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B/B2C sales experience ideally in woodworking industry
  • Account management as well as business development skills
  • Ideal candidate will have an experience of representing and selling a high-end brand and has passion for woodworking, an outdoor lifestyle, and handy work
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
  • Experience with both strategic and operational focus
  • Travel required, up to 50% (Domestic and International)
