Position Overview:

Lodige Process Technology USA is seeking a skilled and motivated General Manager to lead their USA subsidiary. The General Manager will have P&L responsibility and be the driving force behind a small team of five (5) employees. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and a background in business development. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing operations while driving growth and achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Oversight:

  • Oversee and manage the subsidiary, including Sales, Customer Service, Technical Center, and Workshop.
  • Coordinate with external service providers such as accounting and tax consultants.
  • Implement targets developed in collaboration with the parent company.
  • Handle logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
  • Supervise the administrative team for smooth financial operations.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Lead and develop sales strategies for new machines and parts.
  • Manage relationships with North American representatives.
  • Negotiate and close important sales orders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and support.
  • Work closely with the Technical Center to facilitate testing and quality assurance.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate a small team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements.


Your Individual Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s Degree or advanced technical degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly B2B within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Technical acumen, with familiarity in process engineering, is a plus.
  • Independent and efficient work style with strong self-organization and communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to adapt and thrive in a small team environment.
  • Willingness to travel on an as-needed basis to meet with customers, representatives, and attend trade shows.
