Our client, Kempower, is seeking a driven Financial Controller to support the company’s expansion into the US market where it will rapidly build a team and scale its operations to better serve current and future US-based customers. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting to the HQ in Finland. You will collaborate closely with their accounting and help implement financial processes in their brand-new state-of-the-art US facility.
The ideal candidate is an energetic forward-thinking professional who enjoys a fast-paced and fast-growing environment. To be successful in this role you need experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance process development, as well as various financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate financial reporting in a timely manner
- Implement Kempower’s financial processes
- Cooperate with an outsourced accounting service provider and development of the service
- Develop various finance processes and projects
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

What We Expect from You
Your experience & education
- Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with financial reporting (US GAAP, IFRS is preferred), developing finance processes, internal controls, and VAT
- Robust understanding of financial systems, including ERP, and purchase invoice and payment systems
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
