The Position:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of ZwickRoell testing systems nationwide. Your expertise will ensure that their clients’ testing equipment operates at peak efficiency, contributing to their success. Through customer training and technical support, you will help their clients maximize the value of their ZwickRoell systems, solidifying their reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair various ZwickRoell testing systems
- Calibrate equipment to meet relevant standards.
- Train customers on the operation and software of ZwickRoell machines.
- Troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical devices.
- Prepare reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025.
- Maintain tools, parts, and vehicles in good condition.
- Collaborate with the service scheduler to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Participate in developing accreditation programs and training.
- Provide technical advice to customers and other personnel as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience with universal destructive testing machines and extensometers preferred.
- Technical metrology or prior calibration experience is highly desired.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
