Job description
On behalf of our client, Muhlbauer Inc., we are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide service on their equipment at the customer’s site. Extensive travel will be required nationwide with a focus in the first year on the location in Downers Grove, Chicago. The potential candidate should have experience in electronics, mechatronics, mechanics and/or pneumatics. Responsibilities include installing equipment as well as maintenance, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug mechanical equipment and take responsibility for continued customer satisfaction.

Field Service Engineer profile
- 3+ years’ experience on Machine installation and operation
- Installation, repair, maintenance of machines and systems
- Experience in electronics, mechanics and pneumatics, electrical ops
- Self-motivated and organized
- Able to travel 70%-80% required – US, Canada, Germany, South America
- Conduct trainings on systems at customer site
- Reparation of running systems – machine maintenance experience
- Product support and hotline support
- Follow appropriate procedures for each service event
- Complete and submit appropriate written documentation for service interventions
