Distribution Sales Manager

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Sales Manager to manage the distribution network in North America, for all the brands of the company.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of the brand in one of the most dynamic and competitive markets. The role focused on strengthening the company’s relationships with its network of dealers. Increase product sales, market share and brand awareness.
The responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Support dealers in their day-to-day efforts and activities to increase sales and distribution, identify and secure the opportunities to expand the distribution in new areas.
- Visit the existing network of dealers within the assigned territory.
- Train the dealers sales force, introduce new products collections and assist the dealers in their visits to interior designers and architects for presentations and sales opportunities.
- Verify the brands’ sales tools at the dealers (samples, catalogues and price lists), assuring that the sales staff is constantly updated.
- Maintain a complete and through understanding of all programs, pricing, guidelines, and procedures.
- Create and execute customized business plans for dealers through structured budgeting and forecasting, monitor and oversee their sales performance, making strategic adjustments as necessary to meet business objectives
- Conduct market analysis to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and competitive dynamics, ensuring our initiatives are both groundbreaking and effective.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on development activities, market trends, monitor of the competition, and sales performance to senior management.
- Represent the Brands at high-profile industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities, enhancing brand visibility and establishing key connections.
- Plan Grand Openings events at dealers.
The candidate:
You are a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of the sector. You are passionate about the Design industry, show intellectual curiosity, have an analytical approach and excellent presentation skills. In this role you will play a crucial role in advancing the brands’ recognition throughout North America and will be instrumental in enhancing brand visibility, strengthening current relationships with the dealer’s network while working to increase revenue.
To be successful you possess:
- At least 5 years of experience in the Design industry selling luxury products such as tiles, fabrics, furniture, kitchens, flooring, lighting, rugs, bathroom fixtures. A background in retail or wholesale sales and successful track record.
- Understanding of the A&D industry, including key trends and growth opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities. A proactive, enthusiastic, and results-driven attitude, with the capability to maintain high energy and positivity in all professional interactions.
- A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel minimum two weeks per month across the region.
