Position
The Controller will handle high-level financial activities and oversee the accounting process of the US Subsidiary. You will manage and supervise the reporting activity and will report to the US EVP of Finance and Ops and will assist with the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed. You are a problem solver, with great time management skills and a record of consistently meeting your deadlines. You are also meticulous and dependable. Other relevant duties include, but are not limited to:
- Influence and collaborate with key Directors, Managers, and Supervisors in the accurate and timely entry, analysis, and interpretation of financial data.
- Prepare the company Budgets and Projections.
- Perform and investigate cost variance analysis and revenue analysis and impact of discount policies.
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Analyzing inventory stock and perform inventory variance.
- Performing the Finance Department during the Monthly Closing Process.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, report to parent company and KPI reports
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation anticipating future legislation enforcing adherence to requirement, filing financial reports, advising management on needed actions.
- Working with and assisting outside auditors to ensure completion of interim audits, and year end audits.
- Develop, Implement and/or Test Accounting Procedures.
- Reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts. This includes the preparation of allowances and provisions (for example warranty claims, taxes, depreciations), accrual and adjusting journal entries.
- Familiar with multi-state sales tax requirements; knowledge of Avalara sales tax software or other sales tax software a plus.
- Manage bank balances and cash flow projections.
- Prepare Analytical Reports and Models as Assigned
- Following all safety rules for department and entire facility.

Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related
- CPA designation or audit experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Five+ years of Finance/Controlling experience, ideally in similar role. However, proven high potential success and capabilities within a strategic position of a company will create interest in lieu of the minimum years expectation.
- Ability to work closely with senior management team.
- Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
- Advanced excel skills are a must.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close
- Must be flexible to changes and well organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize, exceptional attention to detail.
Salary range: $145K-$170K
