Job Title: Channel CENTRAL -Sales Specialist
Reports To: General Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Channel Midwest Sales Specialist candidate will be responsible for directly working with all
Distribution Channel and Strategic partners with the goal of increasing sales and managing
customer-centric relationships. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to
boost sales within the assigned territories, building and maintaining strong customer
relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, and addressing customer needs and concerns
promptly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate and work directly with distribution and strategic partners, constantly striving
to improve new and current relationships.
• Prospect, identify and seek to expand current and new market segments.
• Work closely with leadership team to provide ongoing feedback relative to market share
and opportunities.
• Analyze existing company products vs competition to provide the market solutions needed
and understanding of current products.
• Undertake field promotions, i.e.: tradeshows, workdays, etc. – to create brand awareness
and uncover opportunities – with key accounts and customers.
• Demo products and assist in the selection of products to best fit the customers’ needs.
• Manage weekly / monthly field activities to generate and close regional sales opportunities.
• Prepare formal presentations for key accounts and customers for proposed projects.
• Perform certain administrative functions as assigned.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Domestic travel of 50 – 70% of work week.
• Ability to work together and support all team members.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree – four-year College or University (preferred).
• Experience in marketing, advertising or business administration is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and competency.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years in a related field and/or sales experience.
Mathematical Skills
General mathematical skills are required.
Other Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of SAP and HUBSPOT is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
