On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for a world leader in air conditioning, heating, air treatment and hydronic systems. The client’s success spans over 60 years in more than 45 countries.

Our client is a well-established and well-renowned Italian based company with a US branch in the DFW area and leader in designing, engineering, and manufacturing air conditioning, heating and air treatment products. Innovation in technology and materials while remaining environmentally oriented has been a strength since the beginning of the company. Our client’s continuous effort to combine products’ aesthetics and functionality lead the company to thrive and position itself as a leader in the industry.
The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with both great account management and business development skills. This is the perfect position for a person who is great in representing and selling to the retail channel a brand with both mainstream and high-end products. The ideal candidate has a passion for building long lasting relationships with retail chains as well as great organizational skills. The role is crucial for the effectiveness of the company’s expansion plans in the US, and for this reason, your business development skills will enable you to identify new opportunities with existing accounts and new prospects. Your business development activity will also include building strong relationships with people outside of your network. Other relevant tasks will include implementing the sales strategy in accordance with the objectives of the group, monitoring the market trends and the competition, attending exhibitions and events, supporting the launch of new products. The role does not have direct reports.
Last but not the least, you are very comfortable succeeding in a fast-paced environment. The position is located somewhere in the DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth, TX).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years in sales roles dealing with major retailers, focusing on both small and large appliances and/or HVAC, Air Conditioners, Heating products.
- Self-motivated, high work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Great communication skills.
- Travel required, at least 50%. Domestic and less than 5% International (Canada and Italy).
- Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
