Reporting directly to the CEO, the Business Analyst is part of a the finance organization and works closely with the CEO to develop, analyze and interpret results in terms of profitability, performance to budget, and other measurements of fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization. The Business Analyst works closely with operational leadership in analyzing the operations and to make information accessible and transparent, and so, enabling management in sound decision making. This role will also continuously strive for improvements, and based on analysis, recommends and presents actions to increase the accuracy of financial reporting and to identify business opportunities. The Business Analyst is a key member of the team.
Job Tasks and Duties:
Collects, analyzes and reports financial data for Factory, Projects, Supply Chain or Business Support (=Overhead).
Continually identify areas for potential financial improvement. Take initiative to start, lead and execute improvement projects, but always with focus on output and relevance for the company’s business.
Ensure compliance with the Company’s financial policies and procedures.
Accounting and administrative tasks are not part of the responsibility of the Business Analyst, but good collaboration with the company’s Shared Service Teams on administrative processes is key.
Gain understanding of the company’s business and initiate, conduct and document monthly financial meetings with relevant team members to come up with accurate financial forecasting.
Participate in ad hoc projects and improvement projects.
Create reports and presentations at Senior Management request and proactive initiation of financial analysis relevant to the company’s Senior Management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Undergrad in Finance or related field is preferred, Advanced degree in Finance or Related field is preferred.
Excellent MS Excel skills and other analyzing tools.
At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Auditor in an international organization is required preferably in a manufacturing/engineering setting.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
A multi-tasker and efficient planner with a high-pace.
