What You’ll Be Doing

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Area Sales Manager – Midwest who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.

  • Promote ZA & its products to the existing and target OEM client base
  • Find new customers in determined market areas and identify new prospects to consolidate & further develop ZA Inc. market position in North America
  • Place new products into the market
  • Achieve the assigned sales, marketing, and technical service goals
  • Support the implementation of strategic goals
  • Provide CRM reporting with comments on sales activities
  • Present quarterly & annual customer sales budgets
  • Provide appropriate market information
  • Provide operational & commercial feedback based on customer interface
  • Coordinate & participate in all trade shows as assigned
  • Contribute to the planning & organization of marketing and sales activities in North America
  • Contribute to the optimization of inventory & inventory turns


What We Expect from You

Your Work Experience & Education: 

  • Work experience in technical sales and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Technical / mechanical understanding as well as market-oriented approach
  • Professional experience in sales (HVAC industry beneficial)
  • Willingness to travel
  • MS Office
