About the role
We are seeking a skilled, customer-oriented, and Field Technician with an engineering background in HVAC, mechanical systems, and/or electronics to join our growing team based in Hudson, Florida.
Intermediary between our end-users and our support team, this position plays a key role. Our new team member will assist our client for trainings, installations, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting our equipment deployed across the United States and abroad. The ideal candidate is hands-on, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a dynamic field environment supported by a cohesive team.
What You’ll Do
- Complete an intensive 4-month training program at our manufacturing facility in Orléans, France
- Install, test, and maintain complex mechanical and electronic systems
- Provide on-site technical support, diagnostics, and repairs
- Perform operational and technical training to GUINAULT end users on Ground Power Units (GPU), Air Start Units (ASU), Air Conditioning Units (ACU)
- Sell trainings, spare parts during the site visits
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and systems serviced
- Travel extensively to customer sites (estimated 50–70% travel time)
What We’re Looking For
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical training in HVAC, mechanical, or electronic systems
- Prior hands-on field experience is a strong plus
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to service
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with autonomy
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Valid passport and driver’s license required
- Spanish and/or French is a plus
- Willing and able to spend 4 months in France for initial training
