Position

As an Accounting Supervisor with no direct report, you will be controlling the flow of data and information generated in the accounting/manufacturing software along the entire machinery project’s lifecycle. The overall goal will be to oversee the sourcing of domestic and international manufacturing components for machinery assembled in Hiram GA plant. Your exceptional attention to detail will allow you to do the maintenance of Standard Bills of Material and custom builds for each machine. Moreover, you will be of critical support for production management to drive the timely execution of projects. In this role it is an asset to have QB Manufacturing and Wholesale software with Advanced Inventory or similar software experience. Other relevant tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Purchasing components by issuing the PO, communicate with vendors to confirm pricing and availability.
  • Preparing reports and present purchasing/delivery status in regular meetings with Production Manager.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all vendor deposits.
  • Maintain job worksheets for the invoicing transactions for each customer project.
  • Work with Inventory Manager to maintain correct inventory quantities, analysis of stock status for manufacturing inventory.
  • Documentation of workflow on the manufacturing floor to ensure compliance with Bill of Materials.
  • Monitor the correctness and complete presence within the ERP of all the necessary data to accurately account for each project’s costs and revenues.
  • Supervise the processing of the various documents in the ERP along the end-to-end workflow (SO, PO, Bills of Materials, Builds) in order to ensure congruence and consistency.
  • Revenue recognition for all projects shipped to the customer from GA or from Italy.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of customer deposits for each project.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of intercompany account.

 

This is a crucial role for the company, and you will have access to all of the necessary company assistance and help to properly support production. The office hours are 8 AM – 4:30 PM with overtime when necessary (sporadically).

 

Profile

  • College degree in BA, Accounting or similar.
  • Similar experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cost and revenues accounting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks/SAP or similar ERP and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently multitasks throughout multiple projects.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in a self-directed, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

 

Salary Range: $65K-$85K
