We are seeking a skilled Technical Key Account Manager to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for Key Accounts, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout the sales lifecycle. You will leverage your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and business acumen to strengthen client relationships, drive product utilization, and propose equipment solutions that meet their operational needs. Additionally, you will play a key role in business development and project management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored solutions to maximize equipment performance.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth, including upselling and cross-selling products and services, and work closely with the sales team to convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s capital equipment offerings, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor client equipment performance metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of new projects and equipment installations, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to client satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback on products and services, collaborating with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Industry Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide clients with relevant recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred or equal years of experience in the industry.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical account management, business development, or project management role within the manufacturing or capital equipment industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex equipment systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; project management tools experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
