About Ted

Ted grew up in the Netherlands and has since lived in Mexico and the US. His empathetic character combined with experience – both on a personal level as well as in business – make him the right partner for all your overseas sourcing challenges.

For most of his professional career, Ted has been working in Sales and Management positions.

Starting his career, Ted was an Account/Field Manager for an IT-staffing company. In this role he partnered with IT Managers for different Multinational Companies to help them find young talent and guide these young professionals in their new roles. Through this position Ted quickly learned from both the employer as well as the employee perspective, what key drivers for success are.

In 2017, Ted started as an International Sales Manager for a Dutch software company. He opened their first overseas office in NY and had to build the US Subsidiary from scratch. With eventually 3 different offices (NY, LA & Miami), this meant hiring a lot of local professionals and guiding them in their new roles within the ‘typical’ Dutch working culture. When the company eventually got acquired by a Norwegian company (2021), Ted was responsible for managing the cultural implications that came with that and assist employees in this transition.

Apart from his work, Ted loves the beach, traveling, doing any sports, drawing, making videos and of course Netflix.
